January 11, 2008, Newsletter Issue #99: The New York Times Upfront Magazine

Tip of the Week

The New York Times Upfront Magazine is my number 11 ranked magazine in my Local & Regional magazine category. To help you figure out whether The New York Times Upfront Magazine is the magazine you are looking for, here is how I describe it on my magazine subscription website: UpFront magazine was developed by the New York Times to address important issues of particular interest to teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18. The magazine selects and edits stories from the Times and supplements these with articles written especially for UpFront, covering such topics as drugs, education, peer pressure, business, science, technology, sports and lifestyles. Editors work closely with a national teen advisory board to make sure that the publication includes only those stories that are uppermost in teens' minds and relevant to their needs. UpFront already has a readership of one million teens.
